Greetings one and all! I know it’s been awhile since my last post…life has been a bit busy!

If you follow me on social media, you are probably familiar with my cat, Tango. We’ve only had her for a couple years, but it seems much longer than that. She’s the sweetest thing…almost more like a dog than a cat. And she brings a great deal of joy and humor to our household.

Most nights, you will find her in our bedroom, sleeping somewhere on or near my wife or me. Some mornings, I wake up with her looking down at me from my chest. Other days, she might be curled up between my calves. But then there are the days that she is literally laying on top of my crotch.

She has done this periodically since we adopted her. She just plants herself down between my legs with her head near my unmentionables. Usually, it happens while I’m asleep, but sometimes she does it while I’m wide awake. And you don’t want to make any sudden moves, because, well, you don’t want her going into attack mode. But it’s…really uncomfortable! I know it’s a warm spot and all, but…that’s just too damn weird.

But it keeps happening. And it’s gotten to the point where I don’t care. I mean, it’s still weird, but…I’ve made peace with it. As long as she doesn’t try to attack me…which she hasn’t. And, it’s not like she thinks it’s a big deal…she’s a cat that just wants a warm place to sleep. But…well, I literally have a crotchety cat! But it could be worse…she could be skittish or mean. It’s worth the weirdness.
